She rated higher than the story w/me, sadly. ![]() ![]() However, I thought the narrator did a good job of hopping back and forth between voices of men, women, children, etc. Sure, a lot of time all the men's voices sound the same but at least they sound like men. Some of the women narrators don't even try to sound like men and I just hate for the hero's voice to sound just like the heroine's. Every man, woman, and child sounded just like they were supposed to. I just hope the next book, His Unlikely Lover, comes out on audible at the same time the book is released. As odd as it may seem I listened to this book as I read along and I know if everyone had done the same it would have gotten 4 and 5 stars across the board, and for $1.99 for the audible version you couldn't have gone wrong.
